  • Thank heavens, the murk has cleared. This is more like it. Our heroes have found a deer and are trying to convince it to buy a mustache. Here we can see it trying on a Brazilian Droopy. I’m not convinced and neither is the deer.

  • Well, if I say so myself this is probably the best drawing I’ve ever done for Inktober. Look at the detail! Unfortunately, it’s very murky today and so the only thing you can see is the end of Reg’s nose. I certainly haven’t used this as an excuse to only do a 2 minute drawing…honest!!!

  • Are you a King or Queen or other minor royal personage? This mock up shows how much more regal you would look if you wore a false mustache. Increase your popularity and reduce the chances of a left insurgency today!

  • All of the mustaches are hand and paw woven on Reg’s homemade loom. Here we can see Top Hat Man working on a Berlin Grand. It’s far too expensive for you but you can always dream of owning one.

  • Gosh! Is it Inktober time again? This year Reg and Top Hat Man have decided to make their fortunes selling false mustaches. Do you have yours yet? There are lots to choose from. Please come back tomorrow to see how badly it’s going.

  • Celia Gadfly, Maria Crocus and Lucy Anne Tuesday Hyphen-Hyphen

Celia Gadfly (1893-1977), Maria Crocus (1893-1969) and Lucy Anne Tuesday (1893-1983) Hyphen-Hyphen. Being identical triplets, the sisters were the talk of both polite and impolite society. They undertook the Grand Tour twice and, being short of funds, the £500 tour once. Following Maria’s death, her diary revealed that she was in fact Celia, and that she and Lucy had only ever been twins.

  • Ludgate Fortnum Hyphen-Hyphen

Ludgate Fortnum Hyphen-Hyphen (1866-1948). Cursed from childhood by the constant attention of corvids, he spent much of his life in an under stairs cupboard and rarely ventured outside. Despite the attentions of several Harley Street specialists, no cure was forthcoming. His autobiography, “My Life in a Cage” remains unpublished.
